Brief update for the watchers i have First, thank you for still being here. Second, my reason for absence. My fathers health declined this summer and almost died. Lost my job in the midst of that as well and am still unemployed. Mentally, that took a massive toll, and until he was well enough, i was confined to my home with him. There was no energy to devote to anything else. Slowly, i am trying to come back, and i think i might be ok mentally. Physically.....well, let's just say i am dumb. i injured myself and am slowly recovering from a finger injury to my dominant hand sp making art.....while possible.....just takes me longer. Having the use of Midjourney AI has been a massive help at keeping me inspired and allowing me to create exactly what's in my head due to being able to generate what i need. no more substituting on my visions due to lack of stock. It is wonderful tp be able to combine artists stock and rendered images.

So....to say life has gotten in the way of being artistic isnt even an understatement. Late last year my fathers health showed signs of decline. Polyps on his bladder and a sudden ever-growing cyst of some sort on the base of his neck. The cyst grew and grew. Required a trip to the ER for treatment and literally MONTHS of recovery while it drained and healed. Then he was diagnosed with bladder cancer, muscle invasive. Luckily, it wasnt that bad and he had the procedure and surgery and was cancer free. Then the complications. A sudden trip to the emergency room one morning and then hospitalized for 11 days. Hed deceloped a massive clot in his leg and a blood infection. Last wednesday was the 60 day mark of him being home. 35 of those days i spent almoat sleepless and dealing with 18 hour days, where i had to administer intravenous medications twice a day, in addition to all the chores and errands and everything else. In that last week of his hospitalization i lost my job of almost 6 years and an income of almost 1k a week. my mental state was non existant. it was just bad and worse for weeks. i am slowly getting my life and sanity back together and have been creating like a madwoman until the spark fades again. i have lots of plans for this account, which include stock images and reaource packs once i figure that out. i have a lifetime of assets in my own gallery that i use in my work, which i have been wanting to share with the community. as i find the time and energy i will start to share stock images from my personal arsenal.
